5 Herbs For Healthy Hair Growth

Hey Curlfriend!

Welcome to our first blog post! This blog will be part of our new Tip Thursday Series, where we share tips and tricks on how to care for your hair and beard, as well as new product insights.

Okay, that was a lot! Back to our main topic: 5 herbs for healthy hair growth.

As you know, Amie’s Essentials is a brand that promotes an ayurvedic and holistic approach to hair and beard care. Today I will be highlighting the five herbs I love plus their benefits, and you can find all of them in our Ayurvedic Hair Oil.

Ayurvedic Herbs for Healthy Hair Growth:

Amla: rich in vitamin C and vitamin B5 and is a powerful antioxidant. Amla is used to prevent hair loss, stimulate growth, prevent graying hair, and nourish the scalp. It also increases the hair density and length of people who suffer from alopecia.

Fenugreek: contains amino acids, calcium, iron, magnesium, vitamin B12, vitamin B6, and lecithin, which nourish the hair and help strands grow darker. Fenugreek also aids in reducing hair fall, fighting dandruff, and conditioning the hair.

Neem: commonly known as the “wonder plant,” neem boasts anti-inflammatory properties rich in fatty acids, limonoids, vitamin E, triglycerides, and antioxidants that conditions the scalp, promote healthy hair growth, soothes frizz, treat head lice, temporarily seals hair follicles, and minimizes grays. It is also good at reducing dandruff.

Brahmi: a regenerative plant enriched with Calcium, Zinc, Vitamins B1, B2, B3, and C, Potassium, Magnesium, and Selenium, is suitable for healing dandruff, preventing hair loss and split ends, and stimulating hair growth by providing strength and nourishment through the scalp, strengthening the blood vessels.

Chebe Powder : is a mixture of herbs grown in West Africa and packed with anti-inflammatory properties and alkaloids. In addition, Chebe powder helps to retain hair moisture which helps maintain hair length.

These are some of my favorite herbs, and you can find them plus more when you get our Ayurvedic Hair Oil. So give it a try and see the difference in your hair.
